also there is a way to keep the tank from getting fuller then i want it to. just in case our once a year rain storm drops more than a 1/2"

cost so far.
tank $350, pvc pipe and fittings $35, pump $25, 20 gallon biofilter tub $12, aluminum was scrap i had on hand dunno what it would cost, float valve $22, screws and nut and bolts were less than $20.

i see another aquaponic system in this pile of trash. bathtub for the fish tank, kitchen sink for growbeds, dishwasher for a waterpump and hoses.

i have alot of abs pipe scrap, im gonna try and make biofilter ribbon from that too. i have turned most of my pvc into ribbon allready. for my next system i need 25 cubic feet of it.
