this type of pump dont use much power for how much water they move

they have no bearings in the pump , no seals. very easy to clean too

I can't say I've ever seen them before. So I assume they are rated for continuous use (24/7)

Wot is the flow? I did a quick google and see that one of the main online pond shops here in Aus have something similar. Pretty expensive though for the flow rate (heaps more expensive that the one you linked to) and they do have aome oil (not that that is necessarilly an issue).
