Thanks Charlie!

Yeah, it's been crazy busy! I've got a few minutes (cooling down)so I will try to give a synopsis :)

First off- Denver went great. Both of my talks were packed and the information seemed to be very well received. Ive had a ton of calls since the conference from people I met there and gotten several different consulting jobs for larger systems which I am working through now. I was also working a booth so I didn't get a ton of time to go to other peoples talks but the ones I did catch were good info. Also...everybody I met out there was super cool so it was fun conference overall.

A week after I got back from Denver, my company (AES) had our semi annual workshop with Drs Rakocy and Lennard which went awesome. Id say probably the best ive been a part of to date as far as useful information goes. It was also great to get to spend time with the Drs. for a couple weeks in a row(they were out in Denver too). They tell it how it is and we need more people like that in this industry. Plus they're really funny down to earth guys!

Next.. since it is now official...the company I work for was acquired by a much larger company diving into the international aquaculture market so as you can imagine, there has been a lot of work and extra time involved during the transition period. Its been crazy but we are now part of an 8 billion dollar fortune 500 company and it seems we will have a lot more technology, funds and expertise to advance this industry.

I've still been knocking out some of the components needed to complete my system so dont think ive been sitting here being lazy. We started to get a bit of a temp drop so I attached the roll up sides to my greenhouse and am now working on installing the extra steel support beams that I bought for the inside. I will hang the cables for trellising my vining crops and also attach fans for ventilation. Next is putting on the front and end panel, attaching the ridge vents and and the front door. Then the structure is complete. Believe me, I stare at that greenhouse every day and cant wait to get the dang thing finished up and loaded up with fish and plants. Ive officially incorporated my business, and will be applying for my aquaculture permit (including restricted species permits) using drawings of the final design this week. Our aquaculture inspector is super cool and im doing everything by the book so there shouldn't be any issues but i want to go ahead and get the permits so I can get some fingerlings lined up for a few months from now. Ill keep updating as frequently as I can guys! Still moving full steam ahead!

I just uploaded a bunch of pictures so I will post them up in a sec!

Hey Bob, that pic is a littledecieving b/c I grow sprouts with tap water, not ap water. I'm sure they would grow great but they have all the energy they need already stored in the seed so no need to possibly contaminate them with ap water (slimmest of chances but still)

Broke my ankle Sunday so one more setback...I would Plan on this kind of stuff happening to you if you're out building your own farm! Definately not something many people plan on but heavy stuff and hard work usually leads to some injuries.

Please listen to your doctor. If he says stay off of it for a while, do it. Be careful and get some rest for a change. Difficult for hard-working people to do, but necessary sometimes.

Hi Ryan, sorry to hear about your ankle. Hmm, Broke your ankle on Sunday. I'm envisioning the following scenario.

Saturday - :occasion5: :drunken: :sleepy:
Early Sunday - :evil3: :color: :pottytrain5: :blackeye:

Just kidding Ryan :) - I hope it heals fast and you can get back at it or keep at it if that's possible .
