Well when trying to lower the overllow level I found out that my way of connecting the pipe to the tank is not good and 1000L of water flooded the chook pen, garden shed and greenhouse LOL
Anyhoo, I know how to connect it properly now, as in , just the same way that I did the other two that have been running for years :)

This one didn't come with a rubber connection like the others and a 75mm outlet that a 75mm dwv pvc connector fitted on so I thought just using pvc glue would do it but, nadda.
Live and learn, and flood the chook pen :)

Got it plumbed up properly and running 30/30 timed. Made a lid but forgot to take a pic. 25 silvers on there way from livefish to go in the tank with about 15 little catfish. Feels like years ago when I put little silvers and catfish in the big system

I'm excited for you. Hows the weather in your backyard with all that dirt?
Pretty muddy down here.

Its pretty soggy but not bad since I need to dig out new paths through the old dead back lawn. The more rain the better for me and the mates cause it means more yabby waterholes filled and happy and growing redfin
Hope its not too wet at your place

Baby silvers arrived today and looking at them and the size of the outlet holes in the drain made me nervous

So a quick knock up to go over the drain with smaller holes

One fish swimming sideways but the others looked ok so far

Finished off the strawberry tower to go in place of the removed growbed. So system all glued and running 24/7 at the moment. Now bring on the strawberries :)

Thanks mate . It will be interesting to see how the different levels grow, as some have the net pots sitting in water and others not.
