I can't find a description of your "maggotry" in your thread.
Do you have a pic you could post?
I have alway thought a nice well seasoned bit of road kill suspended over the fish tank would be a very useful source of extra , free, fish food.
Only problem would be the smell!!

Jamie, going back in your posts, I seen where you had a loss and your Jades had a "Slimey" covering. When Mine have died in the past, I have found the same thing. They might also take a brownish or sickly appearance. Have you found the same thing or know of any explanations?
