It doesn't go away. The longest I purged a Jade for was 6 (or might have even been 8 ) weeks and the fat store had not decreased noticably.

doing a second water change today to reduce the salt. there are too many plants that I want to keep that are starting to suffer from the salt to leave it in the system. plus I prefer the shock factor of salt addition.

So, here is the water level that I dropped it too
