Rainbow trout at 5 months. Harvested due to increased water temperatures with onset of warm weather.

1. Look at all those flowers - what are you, a girl or something
2. I recognise the hydroton, what else is there. Didn't happen to find a 50mm hole saw did you ;-)
3. Have you experienced any deficiencies? I know you are an expert on recognising them, so I'm interested. My silverbeet did fantastically last year, but this year has not been so flash, due I think to some sort of deficiency. In AP some plants just don't seem to thrive like the rest and I think that (other than those which just don't like to be wet) this is often die to their high need for certain elements that may not always be present without assistance.

haha i recon its faye's shout.

you'll regret putting up the pics as you'll be expected to share it all now. so much for those lovely long term stored, smoked salmon steaks. you'll have none left come sunday.

just teasing faye.

seriously though beautiful work faye. the pics of you bed look like horticultural art. sure does heal the soul.

LOL. since i'm looking dumb already i might as well approach this subject again.................

Did you ice them first or just hack straight into them after pulling them from the tank?

If you were going to fillet them Steve, then it's best to chill them overnight (clean them first) in the fridge.... makes the flesh easier to fillet.

As pictured.... gut and gill them fresh is always the way to go.....

Lessens the release of toxins and/or off flavours

Dump em in a bucket of ice, or vodka...? I think the attachment is less when you have more fish... Am I right Faye? When you have a few, and you name them all, then its hard.
