i wanted to prove that anything can be achieved with AP if you're not afraid to give it some serious thought and give it a crack.
I'd say you've accomplished that goal quite elegantly

I hope they paid a handsome price for that system, because it looks like it took many, many hours to complete. A friend asked me if I would install a system for him, and how much I would charge. I told him he didn't have enough money, and that I wanted to keep him as a friend. :)
I may help him put a system together, as I have helped a few others, but yours is so much finish work, it would require another week of labor to do all the wood work. Well worth it in terms of proving that you can build a pretty AP system. I've always been a meat & potatoes, functionality over pretty. But, it looks like you've combined it all in 1 neat looking system. Well done.

i had someone ask me how much it would cost them for me to build something similar for them... then i told them we have put at least 100 man hours into it and then the cost of materials and told them to start with a basic system before investing heavily into something they haven't tried yet...

its been a labour of love and a goal to prove that i could achieve both a functional and an attractive system

Most systems can be dressed up to look good, or blend in with the landscape. What I really like about this one is how compact it is. It really shows that you don't need to have a huge lot to grow in, and looking as good as it does, it could be in a high end neighborhood. Would be a great addition to a new housing development project, what a selling point for the right buyer !

Spot on, any system can be easily made to look good or blend in. We wanted this as a feature and to tie in with the plans i have for an outdoor entertainment area including wood fire pizza oven, fire pit, etc.

The more i think about it the easier i believe i could replicate this system. I could make it into a kit without too much hassle... would there be a market out there for it?? i don't know...
