you can email me too at nate@brightagrotech.com for pricing. . .

As far as the display goes. It's been a great response so far. . . When people say "how great of a response?" all I have to say is that I've recieved marriage proposals, from married women. . . This is what the wife looks like: :upset:

I love it.

Some cool stuff Nate. I stayed up all night the other night watching all the video's you have on youtube now about your zip setup. You have me convinced and wanting to go this rout instead of grow beds for most of my stuff.

I have a few questions for you (if your even still on here after so long).
1. What would be the average useful life be of the media?
2. Does the media contain activated carbon, and if so, does it require replacing after the carbon is no longer viable?
3. How has it been going? Has your display been gaining acceptance in local markets?

Some really great Ideas your working with.

Oh yeah, one last question. How many pounds of fish does this system support? Say, 40 - 5' tall units? How many pounds of poopers can be filtered with 40 zips?

Chris, you might want to go to Nates Blog or YouTube channel to ask questions since you will probably get a quicker response from him or some one on his team there as those are more active lately.

As to the activated carbon question. NO, the media is a plastic filter media that supports huge amounts of biological surface area and has not activated carbon or charcoal. My experience with the media is that it will last many years. The Only media I have replaced have been pieces that had mint or some other aggressive perennial growing in it that overgrew the tower and the media ripped when I was trying to pull it out of the tower. Beware and careful with very long growing perennials since their root systems can become a bit much for the tower. Mint, French Tarragon, and chives have given me some trouble this way and I'm cautious about planting them in towers now.
