Apparently I needed to have an alternative DNS on the system. Now, this means nothing to me apart from IT'S FIXED AND I'M BAAAACCCKK!

The posting "Recovery Period" had taken on new meaning for me. Restlessness was rapidly approaching coma from withdrawals!

well, a small update.

I finished applying the seal to the tank. I now have a large galvanised iron tank, with 2.2m3 of concrete in it, (kindly applied by C1). The steel walls and the raised section of concrete is now black. Might make it interesting to find the fish, but the bottom of the tank is still grey (or rapidly becoming tannin stained)

The data sheet for the seal says you have to leave it for 10 days before putting the water in. After the small amount of rain today I can see why. The seal is dribbling a lovely dark red/brown into the water. I think we'll siphon that lot out!

The silvers won't be available until December, so we have some weeks to get ready.

Alex is on holidays for 2 weeks next week, so the poor man won't be getting any rest, I have heaps of AP work lined up for him, starting with.... GRAVEL!

Hi ya.
Trust the dribble will stop soon.
This is required because the product is safer than the quick cure ones on the market that hide their out gassing(mask).

we had 16mm rain yesterday, and it's still drizzly here today. I have a whole day with nothing planned, plenty of time to get stuff done and its raining. I can't apply seal to the grow beds cos its water based.

Oh well, maybe I'll make a fruit cake instead.

cider makes everything better!

The bitch, hhmmmm, he doesn't get on to his brewing forum often enough, so he has to hijack this one. I keep telling him to register himself, but it hasn't happened yet. I think he likes messing with my postings.

The sealing of the tank took a couple of days and I used a lovely urky stuff commonly called "Goop".

A couple of coats later and here it is!

Now we wait 10 days for the goop to gas off before water is put in on a permanent basis.
