Hi Ivan - 10 x 195w Panels (almost 2Kw System) - CMS 2000 Inverter.
Out of pocket cost $4,900.
AGL are supposed to pay 68c Nett Feed.
Since install highest output was 12Kwh - lowest was 1Kwh.
We have a "Smart Meter" which indicates the "best" Feed-in was 7Kwh on 19 Oct.
Best wishes - ColinW

Hi Embi - which supplier in Vic are you with that it took 2 months to get grid connection sorted? We had similar experience in Mitcham for our 2Kw system - AGL.
Best our system has produced was 12Kwh back on 28th October.
Regards - ColinW

Hi Colinw - We are with Origin. I think its such a long process because there is 3 companies involved. Solar Shop, Origin and Powercor. Origin got slammed when NSW dropped the feed in tariff and that slowed things down considerably.

Our best output so far was 21.959.

We just need this crappy weather to go away now.

By the way guys, have you heard about the website pvoutput.org?
Allows you to setup details of your system, input power generation details, track and share it with others.

The systems they advertise on TV are 1.5 KW for $3g after rebates I live a little far so I would have to add a few hundred for travel on top.
Problem will be cheaper components too.
I've been umming and arring for ages, its so difficult to decipher good accurate advice.
Was also holding out hoping the Greens would introduce a greater rebate but it doesn't seem to be the case.
Well done though,if there is one guarantee is juice wont be getting cheaper and the less you have to pay out the better your life will be.

Standard rate for our bill is 0.17 and we get the 0.68 rebate. Last bill they owed me money on a 1.5kW system :)

Its hard to calculate depends on how much you use and how much sun you get and if you use in peak or off peak.

Had the guy from Green Loans come round with a solar hot water and 1.5 KW it worked out I would get free spark(roughly)
So it would cost me $5 G in total after rebate
and save $1200ish a year so roughly 4 and a bit years and it free power for technically another 20 years.

Spewin the Green loans fell over also applied for the Qld Gov one for HWS and that fell over too
$500 supplied and installed.
Hopefully something new will be implemented after xmas fingers crossed or I will have to sell a kidney
