It looks like the system in Toodyay is almost running again. We didn't get to set it up last year when we delivered the gear as the site had to be prepared as well as making a decision on what media to fill the beds with. The water used in the firefighting efforts apparently contained a fire retardant and as such would be toxic to the fish. Not really sure if it could have been cleaned and reused though. We are expecting photos to come through in the next few days. Good to hear that there is progress.


"We've only just finished the landscaping so the set up is not plumbed in yet. I'd hoped it would be done already but things are progressing much too slowly. We've put the tank underground and the beds are in their position's. So it's now all ready.

I haven't organised anything to fill the grow beds with yet, but I hope to do that this week. I found my old manuals so I've been reading up on how it all goes together again.
