Gidday F&F - I think your system will do very well, you already have a great command of growing and no shortage of bits and pieces to correct any situation should one arise..
the fish will be happy til they become dinner!!
Good efforts all around!! love to see recycling to such a degree..

F&F seasol will only give you some nutes in the water to keep your seedlings going while your system cycles. To my knowledge it does nothing for actually speeding up the initial nitrogen cycle. If you haven't planted the beds out yet, then just wait for 4 weeks before you do so.

PS, sorry about not getting back to you about your hardness. You can always post your question here. I usually get on for about 20 minutes around midnight during this crazy busy period. But i'll try and contact you very soon

Yep, seasol only adds a few nutrients and minerals, it has no nitrogen in it, and doesn't help the bacteria get established any quicker, but does help your plants a little.. Patience is the best thing you can have at the moment. You can plant your plants early if you like, but just don't expect much to happen until the system kicks into gear.

Up and running this morning picked up fish 70 silvers 35 at 6 in long 35 at 2 to 3 in long

I used seasol to help the plants kick along...I also use 'Cycle' bacteria aquarium starter.
I also heated the tank to 25 Deg C to speed up the bacteria growth
