Thats almost as bad as asking if I am a lawyer or pollie :) I am absolutely positive you submitted two alternate plans for this construction.
Besides it looks nicer

I like the ridge vent. Are you building this from scratch or did you buy the frame?

from scratch, the vent was a last minute change, you can see my original design at the beginning of the topic.I was told it would be cool enogh in summer without the vents and use big doors but we sometimes get realy hot days with no wind so i thought better safe than sorry and easier now than later, still trying to decide what sort of coverings to use but i recon it`ll be plastic film just bcause of the cost factor

From scratch...

You must be a boily, or have a good mate who is one.

Nice job, if you do decide to go with the clear plastic, please let me know where you got it from, starting to plan a small green house over a 3 bed system I'm going to build shortly.

I'm not in your league of construction though, and are probably going to go with a simple poly hoop construction.

Excellent job, can't wait to see it finished.

the plastic I might get is about $11-12 bucks a meter and its 6.5mwide, its 200um thick (plastic terms is quite thick) they do other widths as well, there from malaga or wangara one or the other carnt remember of the top of my head, the channel to hold the plastic is about $4.50lm that should give you an idea
If ya need some one to build a steel one let me know :D works slowing down in my trade :|

Decided to give a poly tunnel a go (with our winds, it will be a real test)...

I have been getting some prices for the greenhouse film, found a place in Walliston (Argosee) and they sound like the suppliers, as they cut the rolls themselves.

Their price is something like 1.36/m2.

So approx $8.84/m for a 6.5m wide roll, they also do several widths.

Thats a pretty good price :) , do you know the thikness and any other details about it, would like to know if the stuff I`m getting is a rip off  . I did ask for good quality though, I`m more concerned how long it`ll last.
what about the locking channels did you get a price on that?

was just playing around with sketchup after seeing your system 8) i think i got your config right, one was for a hard skin the other plastic film(less steel), I havent tried a cuved one yet but will give it a go :D

I thought there for a minute that Argoseem was the company that I found on the net only a few months ago and can't find again, but not so. The company was based in Perth, up Malaga way or further north. I even rang the bloke. I thought I found their ad in a Hydro magazine, and I have only ever bought one, but not there either. I was given some good info at the time and reckoned he would be good for some supplies. His greenhouses were tunnels, and along the sides used earth to hold down the plastic.
Your greenhouse TEA20 is looking very impressive.
