i'm looking for one.................

Sorry folks- the large tank holds 865 gallons and the smaller 275 gallons. I muddled the size up with the wife's apple pies. We originally looked at the bigger 1875 tank but three of them meant the whole set up became too cramped. Apologies again,back to your sums.

Ok.. 3275ltr and 1041ltr respectively.....

So probably 2800ltr & 900ltr usable volume.... don't want to fill to top.... subtracted 15%...

Big bloody pies there WD, cooking for all BYAP members (those that have passed the gravel washing phase only )

But - what do you do with 6000 litres of custard that goes with it?

On a serious note the frame for the building went up today and hopefully the timber work tomorrow and the concrete slab next week if the weather holds dry.

Rainbow trout have been ordered for late September / October - fingerlings and young adults - hopefully all will be ready by then.
Anyone volunteering to help with the work ?

r u sure the supports are big enough? do you think some reinforcing braces are needed for strength?

Work on the building is progressing slowly but surely.
Hope to take some pictures at the week end.

Progress report:
Work continues apace and we are gearing ourselves up for the hard work ahead.
Once the building contractors have finished - we can really get going.
It is a great adventure and for WD it is a dream coming true.

The green bins are ready to store the fish food.
