Rick, don't buy cloudy ammonia... or any ammonia that bubbles/froths if you shake it...

You need pure ammonia.... why not just buy a bag of urea...

It has to be pure ammonia with nothing else added. Just get some bloody charlie carp which is all natural.

Just be patient, that's what ap is all about, but you are on the right way.

I was thinking about your sump tank, it looked like 300 to 400l, but you have 3gb which are cut at 300l as well which means 900l. 60% are media and 40% water, in your case 360l water. When all your gbs are full of water at the same time your sumo will be empty or when all of your gb drain at the same time your sump will overflow and after that run dry.

My first job for Saturday morning is cutting the ibc for the Dec and after that you can have the 600 to 700l sump which is left over.

Cheers

Hi all, I am back in Darwin full time for the next couple of years now. My system has gone from strength to strength and I am looking forward to a great dry season. If anyone wants to catch up that would be great. I just have to figure out how to put pics up.

Hello Rick

How is your system? Have you incorporated the pool yet?

Cheers
