Dude, dont crap in your AP system.

The only way to make your poop safe for any kind of interaction with food for human consumption would be to compost it using bacteria (don't remember the exact details but basically the way to compost without worms). And even then it has to stay at a very high temperature for quite a long time to kill all the bacteria that would harm humans. I remember reading something about this some time ago. Basically I came to the conclusion that its a very bad idea to use solid human waste for fertilizing unless you have to because the movie Waterworld has become a reality. (I really hated that movie)

You could Save yourself all the work and cost of an AP system and just eat your crap

Thats a good point freddie. Cut out the middle man and just recycle yourself....

Now you are talking! In theory, that sounds good, but it would be almost impossible to season correctly to make it taste delicious.



BTW, I got my water and air pumps last night. I am also considering moving the operation outdoors with some suplimental lights. I dont have a great back yard for a garden. Spotty light situation, but not horrible. Thinking about making a small green house. The challenge will be keeping the water from getting too hot in the fish tank. (it gets hot here during the summer!!) I am considering sinking the fish tank in the ground, but I am not sure my land lord will approve..??...

Still not throwing out the indoor attempt yet. I have to go pee, BRB.
