My husband would probably prefer the house to be a bit cleaner, but I'm better to live with when my brain is working :D

have you checked the size of the photos? The site will only accept files up to 256kb, jpegs are the easiest. Save the picture to something less than 250kb and it should work. If you are placing more than one picture, add them in the opposite order than you wish to view them eg 3,2,1

Does the fish have any signs of illness or injury?

Hard to know Niloc, in an 8000L tank you shouldn't have many problems at all with only 10 fish.. Does it looked damaded at all, say on the tail or fins?

Niloc, There was a guy out on Fisheries Rd (on the way to Condy) that was breeding Trout at one stage.
I don't know if he is still there but some homework might help locate him.
If you go to the TAFE near the highschool on Pink lake Rd and ask the guys lecturing the aquaculture course they might be able to help.
If you do get in contact with the Trout guy, ask him heaps of ?'s I'm sure he will share his knowledge if another fish enthusiast is in need.

Thanks gnash thats where I got my perch from(hes now farming perch instead of trout). As for the TAFE college they are setting up an aquaponics system soon! They will also be using silver perch.
Ellkaybee, I intend doing a water change today(about 50%).Will see if that helps my algae problem.
Thanks.

Has anyone had anything to do with mullet? Apparently they vsurvive in fresh water and have a high oil content. I ve only eaten them from the ocean but liked their flavour! Also theyre supposed to eat almost anything (even algae!)
