depends on the minimum quantities you want to buy. I bought Grobest food and have a 25kg bag in the freezer. At the rate I am using it, it should last untill my unborn kids have left school ;)

What do you reckon?
Should I do a water change, there is a bit of silt on the bottom from growing media.

As the plant roots grow it will get better at filtering too. If you want you can chuck a couple of egg whites in there, it binds with all the particulate matter and makes it sink to the bottom. It will clear up in a day or two..

Now I'm getting excited. :headbang:

Also a bit of a mod to secure power from weather and water.

Having just fished out my first trout i can say that you will be very glad that you have added the rollers. :D What you have screwed your castor wheels to is the same profile as unistrut but it is much thinner than any unistrut i have seen or used.

System looks very tidy mate. Well done. Some exciting times ahead for you :)

good idea with the box I need to get one too. That reminds me, I have to replace the plastic shopping bag that I use, the sun turns it into dust after a while ;)

I looked everywhere for a box the right size but gave up because could not find one so I made one instead.
Going to fit a solar powered fan in box to keep air fresh and cooler on hotter days.
