I'd love to know more about these systems... and for my own use, does anyone in the US have a source for pvc pond liners at anywhere near that price??

Hey Janet.... DT has been in the states on furlough for his mission. I had supper with him about 4 weeks ago, and learned a lot about his system.

I have one of our former pastors from Liberia here staying with us for three months, I hope to get seriously started on my system in my basement very soon so that we both can learn together. I have talked to several other missionary friends and they are very interested also.

Thanks - John

This is the cheapest place I have found for any kind of liner $.28 per square foot. 19.5ft by 10ft for $55 shipped. It's made out of LDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene). They are certified by NSF61 for potable water containment.

Thank you! I'm looking to line my first big tank rather than take any chances.

So, when will DT be back to share his info?

I spoke to the owner today, the rolls are 19.5 and 22' wide. He will cut to fit. $.20, .25, and .3 per foot.

Does anyone know if the LDPE liners can be seamed the way PVC ones can? The size I need is at least 14 by 30.

You won't have to seem anything. The rolls are 1200' long and he will cut it to the size you need. And yes they can be seemed in case of tear or something.

Christopher,
Sorry I haven't been on for the last few months. No excuse really but I was just taking a break. I am now trying to catch up on over 7500 posts since being on last.

I would love to have you visit in Sept and would be glad to meet you at the airport.

I will be posting some pics of my latest AP project tomorrow. I am really happy with the way it is going. I have installed it at a local Drug and Alcohol rehab center.

Well after 3 months of travelling and constan working with AP systems here in El Salvador, I am back.
My home system has matured and is doing well. Of course I keep messing with it but it does well in spite of me.

Any way, I want to post some pics of my latest system at a local Drug and Alcohol rehab Center.

When I began working with them they had an unused 3000 liter tank wet halfway into the ground.
