Good one Mark

How is the growbed holding up when it's full of gravel? I remember MF had troubles with the weight of his. Did you add any extra screws into the frame or were they already there?

Hi, the grow bed did distort a bit as a filled it, but I was very gentle. It hasn't distorted further. I'm keeping an eye on it. I haven't added any extra screws.

How does the trough work? I was thinking about a couple of them along the side of the house to grow flowers (as a change from veggies). I also like the blue 1000L drum, should go much better than the opaque ones, less likely to have algae problems.

it's all going great. I've been using Joel's book which is a big help to avoid the problems he's solves. The ag trough works really well. I knew it would, because I had previously used it in a hydroponics setup

nicely done... good plumbing makes all the difference - even makes simple grow beds look good (uhm, like mine).
Ilike that growth!

MF was saying that in USA he could get the troughs in bulk orders of 1000 for $5 each. This did not include any type of stand.

Who want to share in an order for troughs? There's about 700 forum members now, probably 3/4 of them in Aus. We could all order 2 and if you include shipping it's still pretty cheep.
