bundy, I haven't had a problem as yet but I only have those 10 little goldies, went to mow and the wife originally had her bottom facing me when I dived for the camera - didn't want to trust my luck too far so took what I could.

This is my competition to AP, buckets in (3) is my contribution (fish tank water)

Gets hard to take that typical Brissie weather (sunshine, t-shirts, shorts, thongs)

aaaaahhhh! - forgot the beer

Ell - Loved the pics! Both AP and 'dirt'.....are your dirt garden beds no dig? No dig are the best! :) (mainly for the not digging reason...) ;)

As for the lawn... sheesh, in the last week I reckon it's grown 6 inches! bf will be sent out into the yard to give it a haircut next weekend!

Hey ell, looking very nice.

Those beds may pick up lots of algae because the plastic is clear. You could paint/sticky paper/insulate them and your system will thank you for it.

minimal dig - minimal weeds, compost bin down the back gets turned over in it aand that's about it.

Gonna have a hard time beating the wife (in growing vegies) so I keep harping on the fish & crays (she loves both)

Ell

Ell, do you live on acres? Plenty of space there for system number 2!

On 2 acres - keep looking at the swimming pool to convert but it uses a copper ioniser  (walls are impregnated with it)

some seriously big greenhouse(s) to fill the back yard tho hehehehe

then there's the gravel

Ell, if I had 2 acres, I would set up all the growbeds, hire a bobcat, pick up small scoop fulls and fire hydrant/use the cement mixer to clean it all, use the bobcat to fill the beds, then build the biggest greenhouse I could afford over top of the whole lot. Whack a 40' x 40' shed on the end for the fishies, and it's rock and roll time.

Oh yeah, 2 acres and a heap of spare coin!
