OK... Windows XP had a "resizing tool" as part of the "power pack"... but it didn't work with Vista or Win 7... and/or was discontinued....

This third party group re-released it.... should work with XP no problems...

The XP version defaulted to a 800x600 size... but this version you'll need to set it in the "custom" field...

One of the advatages of this tool... is it leaves the original photo file... and creates the resized photo in the same folder... with the same file name... and a "custom" designation...

Simple as .... and you can resize a batch of files by selecting via normal file selection methods...

Will handle almost any file format... and camera format...

By default, image files with the following extentions can be resized: bmp, dib, gif, ico, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff, wdp. However, Image Resizer will also be able to use any Windows Imaging Codecs (WIC) that have been installed. For example, after installing the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack, vendor-specific formats from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Leica, Minolta, Epson, and Panasonic can also be resized.

I followed your link. I had to register, which I did. I now have a user name and password and can get to the home page for Code Plex. Now What? It's in English but I have no idea what they are talking about.

Just follow the link Johnra... then click on the download link relevant to your system.... in your case almost certainly the "32bit" version.... it should begin to download automatically... then you just double click to install it...

Or... if it prompts you to "run"... or "save" it.... just click "run"... and it should download and install automatically...

Here's the direct link to the 32 bit version...

Following is a few photos of washing gravel last week. More to be washed this weekend. Some photos show parts of the plumbing. If anyone is interested in how this system ( is suppose to work, not tested yet)works just refer to the beginning of this thread or ask away and I will try to explain.Johnra

Well for tonight I give up on photos. The large, 3 inch, pipe has many 3/8 inch holes drill in it for water passage. The guard pipes holds back the gravel from the overflow standpipes and the drains in the bottom of the tank. These beds were made for another system and when I changed over to gravel I got 28 inch deep beds so they take a lot of gravel to fill. This was the first time I harvested fish from the pond. Took out 52, all delicious. Tomorrow we will try to add more gravel. I would like to get the front half of the beds up and running this month. I got some more work done this weekend. Next week-end should finish the washing of the gravel and putting it into the beds. Then I need to play with the water levels a little to get them where I want them. Question - Is it easier to get the water level you want first and then add 2 inches or so gravel, or is it better to adjust the water level after you get the gravel to the level you want for planting? Johnra

Shoveling gravel is hard work, so only do it once. You can play with cutting lengths of PVC with very little effort. The height of the gravel will change as the system settles and matures, so you might find yourself fine tuning the water level over the first few months of the new system.

Water level only needs to be about 1" below the surface, just sufficient so the nutrient laden water is not exposed to light. Making the level 2" below is just wasting filtration potential and may affect the initial growth of seeds and small seedlings.
