My back hurts just looking at all those blocks. But good deals like that are hard to pass up. You know those are asthetic retaining wall blocks, right? Or for a foundation that will show above ground? That's what the "rock" facing is on one side, also why they are so heavy.

I see in a couple of pages back that there is a ditch dug down through the middle of the access road to the tank. You gonna bury water lines or drain lines? Blast. I need to go back and look again.

Keep us posted.

Yes most are the textured blocks, but I think I got 5 pallets of the smooth blocks. But even those smooth blocks are the heavy duty one's. The ones at Lowes weight 27lbs, these weigh 35 lbs. And the textured ones are 40 lbs. Also got a pallet of some U shaped blocks, that are designed to have rebar put in the U part.

The ditch is just for drainage right now, buth there will be drains for the whole system under the rocks I put for the floor.

Got rid of the bass and perch yesterday and put in 100 2-3 inch channel catfish. Here is my youngest son in the tank trying to catch the bass and perch.

I sure could use some child labor! My only child is 3 so right now I mostly just try to keep her out of the way. She gets hurt enough without falling into holes.

My battery charger/converter should be in tomorrow. Can't wait to get it hooked up. This will run my system full time right now until I get my solar panels, then it will run the system at night when there is no solar on it. Mainly just to keep my batteries from cycling up and down for no reason. The batteries will be sitting there waiting for a power outage. I got the 40 amp model.

I have sold many of those. I remember when Xantrex was Stat Power, and Heart Interface. I wouldn't go as far as to call it a converter though, as it only charges. A converter will also act as a D.C. power supply, which the Truecharge does NOT. It only cares about charging the batteries. Your 12V loads will drain down your batteries, and the Truecharge will then recharge them. If you want your batteries to go untouched consider this: http://www.promariner.com/productFeature.php?ProductNum=63341

Are you postive on this?

That is not what it says on their website. I also talked to the customer service and it says it runs as a converter with up to 40 amps. . If what you say is accurate I am going to be pissed. I asked them more than once to make sure.

From their site.

The charger, however, is able to provide current to its full rating to power auxiliary DC
loads on the battery.

Every RVer who has ever experienced less-than-stellar performances from the stock converter/charger should seriously consider adding the TRUECharge2 to the 12-volt DC battery systems", says Gary Bunzer of RV Doctor. Click here to read his product review.

Thanks Faye, he was having a good time even though he was not catching many of the fish. The oldest one has no interest in it. Must be nice to be 16 and know everything.

Yeah, but you know what? It is unviersal and a developmental stage, so you are not alone. :support: My three are adults now and almost like real people :) (most of the time)

I am looking forward to him being out of his teens. Not looking forward to my youngest getting to his teen stage though. He is a pleasure to be around, and I know it won't be that way in a few years.
