When installing uniseals through liner, I don't cut a circle in the liner but rather mark the circle and cut a * just smaller than the hole in the backing plastic to make sure when I push the uniseal through that it pinches the liner between the uniseal and the edge of the backing plastic so that when the pipe is pushed in it makes a nice tight seal.

I've also found that often the next size larger uniseal will work with the coupler of the smaller size pipe pushed into it so that one can make a removable stand pipe. for instance a 1 1/4" uniseal is a pretty good fit for a 1" coupler (just make sure the coupler is flipped around so that the bump is not in the uniseal but either above or below it.

Has anyone heard from JT lately? I ordered some seeds from him back in June/July and never heard from him.

Just to catch up on this thread... JT and I figured out what happened with my order. And while he was out of one type of seed he more than made up for it in substitutions. I'll be seeing what he's got next season as well for sure... Thanks JT :thumbright:

As stated in my Wicking Bed thread... IT'S COLD.......

but the GH has done well with a little propane heat......

temp got down to about 48 degrees (8.9 c) so everything still looks good

it's tougher growing summer vegetables in the middle of the winter, not to mention the coldest
weather in 20 years.....

Below a few pics of the GH this morning

I'm surprised you don't nip those first blossoms off of the pepper plants to give them an opportunity to grow larger.

I thought you just had to give you plants "the look" and they turned into trees.
