Thanks Matt and Abdul,

The original veggies haven't done as well as I had hoped, I think due to the high PH early on and the salt in the system.
Am about to start adding in new plants and slowing take out the under performers now the system has settled down a little. PH is still on the high side at 7.8 but much better than the 8.4's I was getting.

Will see if Maurice can be coaxed into a bit part in the next video?

Finally had a chance to get out and do a new video of the system.
Did my last show for the year today a nice easy AGM for Orica so can start to wind down for Christmas. :hello1:

Only have a couple of weeks relaxation before the bub arrives early January and all hell breaks loose.

Nice chook, do those wire frames really keep it out of the plants and from digging up and ruining your garden?

Hi Abdul.
This lot they do, past chooks have been a bit more mischievous and try all they can to get into the veggie garden. :upset:

Also grow parsley along the brick to make a barrier so they can not see whats on the other side.

Here's a short video I made of some footage my brother took today before heading back to Singapore as reminder of his visit.

All has gone well with the system over the past few days with the hot weather. Had to add 100l or so of water this morning to top up the FT.

Today is the 1st time since putting the lid on I have had a good look at how big the fish have grown, both the Sp's and the goldies.

Just before Xmas I pulled some of the plants going to seed out and adding in some Carrot, Italian parsnip and bean seeds to the bed. Today I noticed they are all staring to come up.

The Ph is still higher than I would like but since I have been adding the Iron chelates the plants are looking better and when it's hot enough the fish are feeding well.

Happy New Year to all and hopefully in the next few days I will be able to post a photo of the the newest edition to our family, she is almost about cooked and just waiting for the timer to go off! :D
