Its strange to fine earthworms in AP media beds, they would have been introduced through seedlings. But usually they don't last as they need to stay near the surface so they don't drown and it becomes too hot for them. Its usually red wrigglers that live in media beds.

I (former Ben g) have successfully locked myself out of my byap account and email.

I found leeches in my growbeds. Light brown wit a thin dark brown stripe along the back.
Does anyone know if they go after fish? Haven't seen any in the salmon tanks yet but since I found more then two I suspect them doing the multiply thing, not that I know how leeches do that ;)

The fish won't eat them?

I think if you ask joel nicely, and prove you're you, he'll be able to change the password and email with your account.

What I know as Tiger Leeches are black with a yellow stripe, clearly yours isn't one of them.

Leaches have a completely different movement to them than flat worms

Indeed, and different to leeches as well!

Leaching is what happens to minerals in the soil, particularly in rainforests if I remember correctly from school ;)

amazing and thank you so much for sharing this research. What kind of tanks are you starting them in?
