I just realized that I have a indeterminate type of cherry tomatoes. I should just stick this large one in a pot just to get it out of the system. Parents get back from vacation and get your plants!!!

This is 5 days growth from the last picture. It is now about 10-12cm taller. I lowered the light to have the plant grow around it. It is also giving off a lager Tomato plant funk. I kinda miss the smell of the mint.

I pinched off almost all of the suckers on that plant and shoved them into the growbed. I now have 5 more tomato plants about 6-8cm long that look very heathy after being removed.

I found a old picture of the fantail goldfish and a very clean tank.

Also the doll case that used to be in the room. Single guy with dolls......glad they are finally out of the house. I ended up buying the house I grew up in and parents moved out of town and took forever to get their things.

I know a dude that collects Barbies. He would take a heat gun and fix the ballerina barbies so that she would point her foot correctly. He danced for the same ballet company Mrs. Maggi used to dance in.

I have not done a water test in so long.

Little shocked on the results.

This was taken before emptying the solids filter.
pH | 6.2
NH3 | 0.25
NO2 | 0
NO3 | 10-20

Temp - 79*F / 26 *C

Fish and plants seem happy not sure why the low pH.

I ordered new test tubes. Crappy just having the two and these two had left over water from the last test many moons ago still in them. This may be messing with my results. I will check pH of tap water and the water in the IBC tonight.

My tap water pH is in the high 8 range.

Local water report says that it is 9.7-10.0 at the source and is around 8.0-8.4 at the tap. I always top off with tap water. Sink to tank not sure why so low.

Tap water in the left, tap water and rain water in the right.

That picture was back on the 7th of April. That larger tomato plant has been out of the indoor system for a few weeks now.

Still getting good growth inside. Need to get the outside one going. Little busy at work and getting home late.

I think it is time to move the smaller goldfish or move the bigger goldfish. I think the smaller ones are stressing out the bigger one. Fin rot has started on the largest fan tail. Checking on fish this morning and noticed that the bigger one was staying neer the bottom and getting its fins nipped on by the smaller ones. Have not had salt in the tank for a while and added about 25-30ml of salt close to .5ppt? before I left for work. I will add the other 30ml when I get home.

25gallons -> converts close to 95 liters -> divide 1000 -> gives 95ml or 95g

That would actually give .3ppt anyway added the extra 30ml of salt and will add another before I go to bed.

I have tomatoes on my potted tomato plant. This is not bad for a plant that looks like it should have been trashed out a month ago when it looked like crap moving it outside.

I'm thinking of needing a hospital tank for the one fan tail gold fish.

Still just lazy there on the bottom. Will dart up to the top to get food then just stays near the bottom. I am wanting to sell the two fan tail gold fish at a pond supply store, but not when one is having issues and fin looks terrible.

Hey Rob keep an eye on that 6.2 pH reading, that's as low as your test kit will read, in fact it may even be lower than 6.2.

I would try too bring it up very slowly to 6.6 or 6.8

Joe
