Thanks Ryan,

just wondered, because your system is only one I saw (yet), to NOT use a liner...
Well, after your experience I will use a liner (if I eve get to the raft thing...)

Cheers,

They are the most gorgeous variety of lettuce I've ever grown. I think I'm going to use them as seasonal borders in any garden bed forever! Green Mignonette Lettuce.
I've been doing the same. These last few years it is hard to tell which is the veggie garden and which is the flower garden.

Thanks! I hope everyone had a great holiday season!

I am still farming hard, harvesting a few hundred pounds of tomatoes per week and lots of lettuce, kale, spinach, chard and other seasonal vegetables and herbs. We are having a pretty wacky winter as we had an earlier than expected week of frost a month ago but are in the 80's this past week. Tomorrow should be a freeze and who knows about next week! But... 2 months and we will be back in the sweet spot so not to worry.

While I had a minute I also wanted to post a link to my first workshop incase anyone was interested in attending. I will put a post in announcements but figured it should be in here too! :)

I hope everyone is having an awesome start to the new year, I'll try to get some new pics posted soon!

Ryan,

Those snow pea tendrils, is that just a mass planting of snow peas, and you just trim them off for shoots, similar to what you might do for young lettuce leaves/spinach?
