Not sure why my pics are all over the place - they uploaded correctly & I don't seem to be able to rotate them. Sorry if they mess with anyone!!!

Hi all,
Just a few pictures to let you know I am still growing my fish & veg, albeit very slowly in our winter. It has taken a few hours mucking around with my photos, as they kept loading at the wrong rotation, as in my previous post. I have had to set up a photobucket account & import them from there.

I still have tomatoes from summer plants, but they are a lot slower to ripen.

My big wicking beds have been very disappointing - I think due to the soil/compost mix I used. I turned & mixed in another ton of compost from a different nursery, but am not seeing any better results. It was possibly too fresh/hot & I don't think the worms liked it too much.
Time will tell as the weather warms up!

The celery is doing very well in the DWC.

The grandie & the dog love the tomatoes & celery. The little bloke loves to poke around in the greenhouse to see what is edible & is always on the lookout for strawberries!

Hi, I hope everyone in South Aus coped with the horrible weather and power outages over the past week and haven't had any major disasters.
We lost power for 11 hours Wed, 14 hours Fri and 11 hours today. Phones out for 2 days & internet has been intermittent even with power.
Systems were backed up using our fire fighting pumps & we're not moving them for a while yet - heaps more rain forecast for next week.
The produce I've just picked for salads for tomorrow make the effort worth while. I can't upload my pictures so am a bit annoyed.
Hope everyone is well,
Cheers,
Karen

Read about SA problems and saw some pics of the main transmission line towers, holy cow, that must have been some storm.

Here are the pics I wanted to upload a couple of days ago. Sorry they are sideways again, but I don't seem to be able to fix the problem!

We have had more power interruptions - the last 3 all at night, which has been a pain to go outside & start the pumps. Lots more rain & wind to come.

Thanks Boss, I love the pic of our Grandson too (but I could be quite biased!)
