Thanks Ben will do what is your opinion on running on cf all the time i have been thinking if i kept it on cf i could add more grow beds at the moment with one grow bed if i have it on fd the water level goes down to about 4 to 500 litres in tank to look at it doesn't look much for 20 trout also with this cold weather do you run pump through the night?

Both my systems have 1000l of gb and I run on fd 30 mins on 30 mins off. The water in the tank varies about 20cm when the pump is on. I haven't had any issue with this. I also have the option of running cf if I have water quality issues.

400-500 L is not much so perhaps you need to top up the tank a bit. Mine doesn't go down this much and I have 2 gbs.

Cold temps are no issue with trout. I run my pump all night
