KudaPucat, I know what your problem is......

Your a bloke!

I go into B and I get them to find my plumbing bits for me and I get them to cut my wood too!

I just go in and say I need X and what size I need and they get it for me. The I say that it's to long etc. and could they please cut it for me. If they ask me if I have a saw at home I just say I don't. Never had to cut it myself yet. :D

Mind you, I don't buy timber that often......

Oh, and DH says I can't have a larger tank (he thinks I already have enough fish, he has no idea what he's in for! ) The fish will have to move out the back onto the pored slab. Looks like a few fighting fish in jars might be all the fish I can have in the lounge.

Absolutely, SG!! Works a treat here, too. Just put on the dumb blonde act (or sometimes the dreamy artiste), and the clerks will cut my PVC in 6-inch lengths if I want it.

I also have the best idea so as not to get ripped off. If you can't get a man to ring for quotes for you, just tell them your boss needs a quote for XYZ, it really works. :D

I got a quotes for a tub of grease, $11, $10 & $11, thats OK I thought.
Went into one of the shops to buy it and was told it would be $40!
I informed him I had already rang for a quote and that it should be $10, at which point he say "Oops! I'm looking at the wrong thing."

Magic 'eh?.

Oh yeah, the secretary act. I use that one, too. Or wife calling on behalf of busy investor-husband. It's a sad thing that we have to be as sneaky as they accuse us of being. ;)

Yeah well I haven't tried showing a bit of skirt... I'm not sure it'd make the attendants easier to find...
