I have been trying to track down one of WA's Black Bream experts... His name is Dr Gavin Sarre. He has done a lot of work on the Swan and Moore rivers to do with Black Bream. He worked for Murdoch UNI, Challenger TAFE in Fremantle and CY O'Connor TAFE in Northam.

He would be your best bet...

Some good info here...

Most Black Bream dams have a significant level of salt... most are brackish.. so the common ICH would most likely not be it unless it is a strain that has adapted to these conditions...
