Hi all,
Haven't posting here for a while but I’m still alive and well.
I have been preoccupied with finishing house building for the last 6 months or so and haven’t had much time to further my setup but I haven’t been totally idle. I’ve managed to do a lot of research into feeds running with the concept of integrating multiple systems- Aquaponics providing fish and vegies, the vegies feeding poultry which provide meat for sale, organic fertiliser for land crops (which feed the fish and poultry) and poultry production waste (which can be feed to the fish). On the surface this looks like a pretty effective concept if it production levels can be balanced, and it addresses the problems associated with using wild fish stocks to feed farmed fish.
Anyway, the next few weekends are allocated to cleaning out the shed so I can actually fill the 3000l tank and actually get producing.
Anyway, hope everyone is well their fish are feeding and plants are growing.
