BHSX, When I start buiding the syetsm, I will ppost lots of photos... no worries!

AA, ty muchly for the encouraging words. The limiting factor is going to be avoiding a huge solar system, and using one pump instead of two. Thanks, also, for the nice words... We have fun building. We are building a new classroom right now, which is exciting...

Bundaberg Kid, I like the significant height change (and I like your avatar, there must be a story to it...). This will allow us to have a water feature, maybe a waterfall..... something fun..... If I can build it around the kitchen....... still working out the relationship of things, but the hill is an integral feature...

Hiiiii Jaymie,

It goes well, thank you. How are you?

Our rainy season is on, and I am thinking Aquaponic :wav: thoughts (HEY, YOU GUYS! DON'T DO THAT, OR I'LL GET IN TROUBLE WITH VB!!) "Sorry, guv", "Yeah, we didn't mean nuffink by it..."... um, AP thoughts are in my head.

I am working with a friend on a proposal for 20 ponds using pond based aquaculture (he's a Phd in aquaculture), and I am thinking of installing Aquap.... um, dang, AP components, grow beds, to act as biological filters. Thoughts led to thoughts, followed by a perusal of Joels fabtastic book, and then a visit to this site.

The proposal is ideal since the prototype pond gets built here (if and when the funding happens), so a part of the system cost would be supported by external funding, the pond and pumps for aeration, photovoltaic panels for pumping... all I need is grow beds....

I was looking at your system today, the BIG one, and ooohed and aaahed.

This place has grown!

Have a good day!

C

Have a chat to Monya about grow beds on ponds, he's got plans. He hasn't been on for a few days, I think they need to find the computer again (they just moved house)
