Good Read Dasboot and thanks for the photos

I wanted to ask you about raft flow rates , Scotty beat me to it , when I build my raft bed it will be similar in size to yours

I want to shift my system on to a area I have prepared (should have happened a yr ago but got injured)

I have been planning layouts for awhile a big part of what I want to do is finding a way to reduce power use a lot and still have good growth and healthy fish .

The reduction in power use has always been a top priority, I do build systems occasionally here for customers and power usage is always a important part of the design.
When the system was coupled I ran turnover times from once per hour to once every five hours with absolutely no difference in growth, the troughs now goes turned over roughly once every thirty hours with still the great growth as you would expect. If it wasn’t for the PH controller I wouldn’t turn it over at all and use just the air to continually move, mix and oxygenate the water.

Still running and looking to really ramp up again in the new year, its been a strange couple of years. The wife and i split up and i left the family home with my daughter, we met an amazing young lady, settled down again, new home new baby, the works.
Covid changed things for everybody and it doesn’t look much is changing soon, in the mean time its all planning, experimenting with all things AP. still have the RAS up and running, with a small tube system growing stuff just for us. Iam looking forward to next year and all the plans coming together and i will share the goings on here, i do like this forum and hope it gets up and running again.
