Evaporative cooling isn't enough in very hot weather if you have trout, although it is fine for most other species.

Yep. Agreed.
I grow SPs in my systems. Wouldn't mind trying some trout for next winter though, in an outside system and keep the SPs in a greenhouse (depends on how quickly I can remove a big Aust. red cedar to make room for the GH I want to build. Flat out with other projects for a while yet though).
