Thanks y'all. That's perfect. I didnt find that thread when I had looked around. Same Nate Storey video, too! I'm anxious to get it and add at lower rates mentioned.

Worms made it into the beds today. About 15 good fistfuls, 5 per bed.

It's amazing how quickly chlorosis due to iron deficiency is correcting itself with foliar spray.

PH still holding onto 8 strong. Water hardness seems to have dropped 1/2 of a drop- meaning, the color changes halfway between 3 and 4 drops.

Thanks for the reassurance everyone.

My RO filter arrives today.

Anybody have experience with RO and aquaponics? I want to use it to bring my system back up to full capacity, as I've been running about 50% of water capacity my system in an effort to drop pH with a smaller volume of water.

Anything to know before adding RO water to system? It filters at up to 8gph. My pH is still 8.0-8.1, even after 5 or 6 100 gallon top offs with 6.5ph water.

My plan is to add RO water at 8gph, testing pH once an hour. If my pH starts to move .3-.5, I'll stop.

If I use 100% RO from now on, will seaweed extract supplement all necessary trace elements? I'm tired of a) buying dechlorinator b) storing water in 100 PE tank before adding.

I plan to automate my top of with a simple float switch and solenoid, or even float valve. I want to be able to leave town for a month at a time and just have to ask someone to feed fish and pick produce.
