Nice setup. Glad you're still at it. I put the gunk in the worm bin.

That's a nice little RFF!

I feed the solid waste from mine into a mineralisation tank with an airstone in it - there's a slow trickle of water moving through it from the RFF, and the outlet is in a settling cone so the solids don't escape. The outlet runs into my sump tank to deliver any nutrients that have been digested out of the solids. The feed from the RFF doesn't pick up all the solids, so every once in a while I either poke them with a stick to move them along or siphon them out (I've only needed to siphon them once since building the setup, but I expect I'll need to do it more as my fish grow) and dump them in the mineraliser; when there's a decent buildup in the mineraliser (about every two weeks) I turn the airstone off to let everything settle, siphon the remains out, and pour the gunk on my fruit trees.
