Hey guys,

I am from Singapore.
This is my first flood & drain aquaponics system build in my apartment.

1 Fish Tank 90L/24G
1 Sump Tank 90L/24G
1 Swirl Filter
3 Growbeds 45L/12G (20cm deep)

Here is a sketch of how my system works, use a little imagination and flip it horizontally

The actual system in the balcony, I used crate containers sold commonly in my country for this setup except the filter system. http://www.toyogogroup.com/ind.-crate---basket.html
PS, the space is also used to dry my clothes

20 tilapia fingerlings but i am down to 17

D.I.Y. swirl filter system with bio filter media. The water overflows in the FT when all three growbeds is siphon at the same time, the solution was 3 pipes to connect to the FT & ST.

Each growbed get flooded in 5mins and siphon out in 2mins.
The temperature is 32 degrees here in Singapore.

Any feedback are welcome!

Cheers :wave1: ,

The lettuces are not so lucky, anyone can help me resolve this issue?

Some species of lettuces are growing very well but all the young leaves die/dry out before the could grow.

@duckiemama - Do you mind attaching some photos of the brand and content? You might be facing plant deficiency soon if the food don't provide sufficient micro nutrients.

Regards
