Hi All,

First up I would like to say a big thanks to all those out there who have contributed to this site, as it made my build a lot easier with the ideas and thoughts that have been shared around here, CHEERS.. :thumbright: .....

My system consists of a 1500l fish tank currently with 20 Koi/goldfish on loan to get the system up and running, 2 media grow beds, 1 raft bed and an IBC sump. The build has taken me around 6 weeks on and off and its been running for around 3. Today I finally finished all the tidy up bits off and I'm pretty happy with the way its come up.

Below are some pics from start to finish (for now). Any questions or comments feel free to fire away.

Cheers,
Matt

Hey tonzz,

Yep, it is a bit shady but mainly in the afternoon from about 3 onwards, I was thinking of waiting till summer gets closer to see how it goes. If it needs more sun then ill prune the trees that are blocking it.

Below are some more pics....

Cheers.

Hi Matty

That looks AWESOME!!!
What sort of liners did you use? Can you buy them as is or did you make them up?
Tim

Thanks guys,

I used HDPE pond liner, I bought it from eBay. It can be a pain to work with but if you apply a little heat from a heat gun it makes it easier to fold in the corners and then cut it to fit.
