They were up around 80ppm now hardly anything...

No expert here , but I might suggest that the size of your system would make more sudden changes.

Well it is doing great from what I can tell....Ammonia and Nitrites staying between 0 and .25 ppm Nitrates are vacillating a bit more (between 20 and 0 ppm) but with only 4 small fish...not taxing the system at all.

fighting to keep the PH up. I should have just used Oyster shells as the rocks in the bottom of the tank instead of aquarium gravel.

my spinach all died. I had to stir up that bed and I think damaged the roots (had a close call with my siphon not activating when I was dumping buckets of water in trying to plus up my system)


Going to try more from seed...just sprinkled into the grow beds. Lettuce is fine, kale is doing GREAT.

Liking the system spindog. I'm also experiencing heavy swings in my numbers with a small system. The key is not to panic... check levels at the same time of day like keith said.

The youtube tag didn't work. Also the video is set to Private.
