they say they use this in net pots in DWC...how would it stay in pots. I experiments with some course coir and it ended up getting into system, and this "proprietary blend" looks much finer. Anybody use this in DWC?

I've used the coir before, it seems to expand and stick together when it gets wet. I didn't find any difference in growth or germination rates to vermiculite though. A small amount probably gets in to the system, but not enough to worry about.

It doesn't say how much there is in each bag. Could end up getting expensive.

Actually , we're in Pasco county.West -central Florida. Taking about the coir falling through net pots and falling into DWC water.
Colum, I was thinking the same think with the lack of size/container. Reminds me of when i was 10 and bought not 1, but 2 lock back knives out of a comic book for $2.98 plus shipping. After eagerly awaiting their arrival, the day finally came. The knives were boxed in a 2 " x 3" box, and were about 2" overall. A lesson learned...you get what you pay for.lol
