I am new to your site. Am going to be putting in an aquaponics system this summer. I am looking for a good place to purchase some 2' X 4' Styrofoam sheets 2" thick to use for the plants in the flo system I am planning. 'I have a 9,000 gal swimming pool with Koi in it now, but will changing out the fish habitat. I have been to the Inslee Fish Farm at Connerville, Oklahoma many times and plan on raising rabbits, tilapia and vegetables much like the Inslee's raise their water plants. Will be building solar water heaters to heat the water too. This is my retirement project along with my other interests. I would appreciate any and all tips.

Welcome to the forum!

I bought the sheets for my rafts from Home Depot... They carry 4X8 sheets of polystyrene in various thicknesses. I bought one very close to 2" thick.

Just make sure it says extruded polystyrene. I bought the other stuff first then had to return it.

Good luck and post pics!

Hi Donna, and welcome....

This is Leon up in Coalgate...I'm new to this game also and am just setting up a trial
rig to see if I can make it work.....Then, I'll get serious...

I am anxious to see what you get going.

Inslee has quite a set up, hasn't he....
I've been down there a couple of times and that was the first time I had ever heard of
hydroponics or aquaponics.

Wishing you luck and be sure to post lots of pictures... Leon
I post under KbarL.
