Nice plants...and fish...but the plants look excellent.

2 more zombie barra thismorning so i took em out and put em in a bucket while I messed around with the hospital tank and put it back to 10ppt salt and added a biofilter/sump to it (looks like they'll be there for a while)..

After all that, one of them was still fairly perky, so I put him in a small aquarium tank in the house and treated him with malachite green and all the aquarium stuff that's apparenly bad for AP.. He's getting some colour back, so if he pulls through we'll name him carl and keep him as a pet.. "stay in the house carl"..

Just a quick update on what's left of this system, but I see my last post from January isn't here.. Was some forum problems back then so it must have got lost..

Update from Jan '13, in a nutshell:
Planning to move interstate so the system was partially shut down.. Fish removed and plants running on seasol.. Traded the silvers for a few barras that I kept inside in an aquarium tank..

Current update:
Didn't end up finding a suitable place in Victoria and have taken a rental for now, so finally pulling the plug on what's left of the system here and will set up something temporary when I get over there in mid Jan..

Thanks to Food&Fish and IceManDude for letting me check out their systems on one of my house hunting visits a couple of months ago.. Hope to check out a few other peoples systems soon..

Some stuff came up and I havn't really got much past getting some IBCs.. I started a thread on it somewhere here but there's nothing to update on it yet..

I did bring the yabbies over, so I'll have to update that thread when I can clear enough half unpacked clutter to be able to take a pic..
