I have put together a system using different ideas of thing I've read and tried to design it to be mostly self contained when it's finished. Feel free to yell at me if I'm doing it wrong. I have a 1350 sq foot shop with some big windows. I get south sun all day and eastern sun on the beds in the afternoon. I threw in 4 bulb t-12 lights over each bed that I'm running on a 15 hour timer. The fish are in a 200 gallon bottom section of an ibc and the 2 grow beds are ibc tops. Using a sump pump to get water in from the tank and bells to get water out back to the tank. The only thing I'm really not liking is the pump is turned off and on by a float switch that I have to monitor as the water level drops.

Here's the system:

Here's the fish tank, it has around 200 gallons of water from a friends stock pond. Right now there are 30 goldfish in it that my wife calls system test pilots:

Here's the grow beds

The system has been running for 2 weeks with only 1 major disaster which was a dumb mistake and I'm not telling

Like I said feel free to throw rocks at me, seems to be the only way I'll listen
