I already know the two beds are not deep enough, but it's what I have to work with. the far left bed will be 12"

Do you have a SLO in the Fish Tank?

It looks like you're pumping from the sump to the Fish Tank and draining via SLO to the grow beds which then flow back into the sump. If this is how it's supposed to work you should be good. Check the volume pumped by the pump at the head height you are pumping to. Head height would be the top of the water in the sump to the highest point you pump. Most pumps have a table or chart to tell you how much they pump at any given head height.

If the 40L/min is correct you'll have some spare to cycle back into the sump for aeration. You want one water change per hour of the fish tank (more or less is acceptable, this is just a guideline that works)

Stock to the filtration ability of the growbeds - http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6646

yes you are correct on how I have the flow. A traditional CHOP system. I did see the CHOP2 today and will like to go that direction. So the SLO will go into the sump and I will pump out of the sump to the fish tank and grow beds. This will give me some nutrients in the sump where I can put some crayfish. The AirLift Pump states it will pump 100-300 gal per hour at that height. I'm anxious to see how it works. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post!
