Ok so this am when I got home from work bed temps where 58f , tank 64f. Air 59. I put my plastic over my cold frame an left one side open all day. For tonight's test I just ran the outlet to underneath one growbed and I left the side open. For the 45 min the dryer ran I had no condensation the temp of growbed went up one degree to 59. and temp of air just above growbeds was 73 and just below top it was 78. ]

This is your opportunity to quit your day job, open a laundry service, and use the excess heat as for your AP.

Ok after the experimental period I'd pretty much pronounce this idea dead. Yes it helps keep the temp up but there is a lingering smell that I worry about permeating everything. And having no idea what chemical is producing the smell it's safer just I let it go and reinstall my light bulb although this year I'm going to grab one of those heat emitters that you would use in a reptile cage instead of a standard bulb.

Remember, if its a gas dryer then it will produce high levels of deadly carbon monoxide gas in its exhaust! :naughty:

If you run the duct straight through you might be okay, but be careful about things like back pressure which could cause the gases to back up into your house and then you've got a deadly situation!
