I wanted to build a pond that ran into a stream filled with clay balls that goes into another pond then the water runs back up to the orginal pond via siphooning. has anyone done this? Or does anyone see any probmlems? Thanks for your input every answer helps.

Water will not siphon up. It needs an energy source to raise its potential energy.

Otherwise it sounds like you could make a really nice looking system.

No, it won't work, so there are no videos or pictures... You will need a pump..

Thanks i know now i need a pump but as far as growing food in the stream would it work?

Is the stream a natural stream or would you be constructing it with liner and clay balls? :unclear:

The stream would be a lined trench made by me mimicking nature

Hahah dasboot yea sorry I went with the flow because I kind of got the feeling he meant stream as in 'runway' that's why I made the distinction
