I just finished our new system at our school. It's been running for about a month now on an ebb and flow system with a bell siphon.

600 gallon round tank
120 gallon grow bed (will be adding more soon) with a combination of half hydroton and half 3/4" river rock from home depot.

20 eight inch tilapia

Growing basil at a great rate, our culinary program is pulling about a gallon a day of basil from the plant trays.

Water is still clear

Will post chemical levels soon

Also have a complete price list of all the items used from aquatic ecosystems if needed

Interesting design... Try looking up Affnan siphons, they are a better mod on the old standard siphon..
